Forte-IT will design and develop a custom service for your IVR or IVVR systems deployed on our IntelleScript Pro platform. For your convenience we are explaining this offer and its benefits in the common form of FAQ.
1. What do you offer exactly?
We will design and develop a voice or video call processing service based on your specification or just a vision of how it should work for your business. We will take care of the full development cycle, starting with computer coding and voice menu recording to final deployment and administration on your IVR/IVVR platform.
2. What computer telephony platform do you do that for?
The universal IVR/IVVR platform by Forte-IT.
3. What technologies and protocols do you rely on?
You can find a full description in the IntelleScript Pro technical manuals available upon request.
4. What are these "services" in brief?
A service is a certain pre-defined scenario of how voice, SMS and/or video calls are being handled. That scenario can be as sophisticated as you want it to be and include many logically connected steps like indentifying the caller, extracting their personal data from the database, taking them through an interactive voice/video menu, making return calls and/or texting out, connecting to Web-services for data exchange, logging the results, etc.
5. What are most popular mobile services you designed for your customers?
We designed dozens of custom voice services like contests, quizzes, media stores, greetings, voice cards, you name it. However, the new generation of the IntelleScript Pro platform brings a completely new flavor into this business, thanks to its video capabilities. A media store, for example, turns out much more efficient through demonstration of videoclips and photos on sale. A lot of things that were simply impossible with a regular voice call become reality through graphics and video, giving new life to many ideas you left behind as unrealistic. It also opens way for innovative services such as security monitoring, video blogs and chats, video dating portals, etc.
6. How is a service deployed with a mobile or telecom operator?
The service deployment process is very operator-specific, we have to know details of your situation.
7.Do you support speech analysis and/or synthesis? Examples, please.
Yes we do. The speech synthesis component works to speak out textual and numeric data such as date, time, product title, price, account number, name, etc. Besides, the text-to-speech module is used to read out dynamic text pieces like news articles on a voice portal. It saves costly pre-recording of such pieces but has a noticeable disadvantage of low speech quality as compared to a human speaker voice record.
Speech recognition makes an alternative to the traditional tone dial signals in the IVR menu navigation. A good example comes by the IVR secretary service that takes from you the name of a person (or department, or division) to connect you to. The speech analysis functionality is much more user friendly but may be too hard to use when calling from a noisy place.
8. How do I control and maintain a service?
An IVR service is fully automatic in its everyday operation and requires no attention. A typical service has a number of operational settings available for modification through either a configuration file, or a database, or a Web-interface, or even an outside computer system. The exact way to control service settings is a part of the service design specification. Such modifications and other operational adjustments can be performed by Forte-IT engineers, or by the customer's personnel after a special training by Forte-IT.
9. How do I write service scripts? Tools? Costs?
Every service runs a call processing script written in the IntelleScript scripting language. The script designer works in the ScriptoGen integrated development environment (IDE) that has efficient tools for creating, debugging and testing scripts. A basic service like voice mail normally takes just a few minutes to design a script for.
10. What services are most popular in Russia? And in the world?
Russia favors call-in TV quiz shows (Call-TV).
11. Any success stories?
You are most welcome to check out our news page.
12. Your plans for the future? Any innovations in mind?
Today we are concentrating mostly on video call processing. Another focus lies in minimizing the amount of 3d party hardware and software to dramatically improve the customer value of our solutions.
